We have about 50 boats on our moorings or hard-standing. Some are residents, others just visiting on a tour of the Yorkshire waterways. Our customers have formed a pleasant community, and welcome newcomers. The yard is secured by a gate at night and on Sundays (you have a key).
Some moorings are beside the bank or a pontoon. Others are alongside other boats. It's customary to step across those boats. When taking the boat out, please re-tie the other boats.
A number of moorers are residential, which helps the sense of community - and security. The number of residential moorings is limited, and vacancies seldom arise; but we generally have room for boats which are not being lived on.
Metered electricity is available on most moorings.
We offer all boatyard services.
