We regret we have no space for new residential boats at present
We have about 50 boats on our moorings or hard-standing.
Some are residents, others just visiting on a tour of the
Yorkshire waterways. Our customers have formed a pleasant
community, and welcome newcomers. The yard is secured by a gate
at night (you have a key).
Some moorings are beside the bank or a pontoon. Others are alongside other boats. It's customary to step across those boats. When taking the boat out, please re-tie the other boats.
A number of moorers are residential, which helps the sense of community - and security. Sadly, at the moment we have no space for new residential moorings, but we generally have room for boats which are not being lived on.
Metered electricity is available on most moorings.
We regret that we cannot accommodate boats on trailers, nor can we store fibreglass or wooden boats on the bank. We ask boats which are being refitted to get a skip for their rubbish or take it to the council tip.
We offer all boatyard services.
