A very good field in 2017, including many old customers - very nice to see you all again. Here are the two winners (who receive £50 each) and other highly commended entries.

About the judge
James Laws is a professional lighting designer, based in Suffolk. He specialises in landscape and performance photography. He has known Shire Cruisers for many years, as he is the elder brother of Susan Stevens. One of his pictures is two on the right.

James says:
"Well done to all entrants, my job becomes harder each year!" James's comments follow with the pictures.

The overall winner, with their happy group of holidaymakers at the wharf (plus Josh from Shire Cruisers). Often simplest is best and the picture radiates thoughts of good holidays with Shire Cruisers.

A very good portfolio, which included a rare shot of a double railway track which moves sideways to open a canal! They also had good day & night shots of the same moorings view.
